Random things about me,
I became a victim of the Global Financial Crisis in February 2009, because of the apalling employment market in Canberra I have been unable to secure a permanent position yet. Mainly because my skill set is a rare combination and I command a salary at the SES level when I do have a job, anything less renders me unemployable because I am over qualified.
I am a single mum to two teenage children, for which I receive no child support from my ex-husband. I have raised my children by myself for 15 years and I am extremely proud of both of them, they are outstanding young adults.
You might be wondering how I could possibly survive on just Centrelink payments for 6 months and still live in my $480/week rented house and still drive my new flashy Ford FG XR6 Turbo, which is red because red cars go faster. This has been possible because of a couple of factors which include Mr Rudds stimulus package and significant loans from friends.
I think 6 months is the limit in this situation, which means it’s time to draw on the super.
